In literacy we have been learning about different kiwi innovators we have learnt about their different inventions. Some were EasiYO or Jet Boats. I enjoyed learning about the different things Nzers have made.

Friday Free Writing

  

Hi Bloggers, In literacy me and carter been working on The plane crash in ancient greece  it is a  

work in process. We did this for a free write. I have tried to include some figurative language.

Air-Fried Sweet Potato Fries

In lockdown me and my mum made sweet potato fries in our airfryer. The recipe is below.

Recipe:

4 sweet potatoes

1/2 - teaspoon of oil

What to do:

Peel the potatoes

Cut the potatoes to chip size

Soak the potatoes in water for 30 minutes

drain and dry then coat with oil then put in airfryer or oven for 30 minutes, shake them at 15 minutes

Once cooked sprinkle salt over them and enjoy.

The Battle of the mountains

Today in class we have been learning about the Legend of the North Island Mountains.

We choose to re-create the story through an animation. I really enjoyed making this with Blake it is still work in progress.

In literacy we have been doing reports. My report is about the City of Vancouver. I used google and Kiddle to find my information. I found this activity hard at first until I got some help from my teacher.

Artistic messages

In Inquiry we have been learning about that messages that artists communicate. Now we are going to do our own piece of Art with our own message. Mine is going to be to 'Stop poaching animals'. I am going to use music to communicate this.

Court Theatre Day

Hi bloggers how are you? earlier this week we did this acting called court theatre day we would do drama when we are not do drama we were working on this.

We learnt heaps about warm ups, teamwork and just having fun. The slide is a country study on Syria?

 

I enjoyed that we could play games when we were doing drama.

I got most of my info off google and Wikipedia
